An aircraft leasing company led by a prominent Ennis businessman has announced its biggest ever order with Boeing.
Avolon, whose CEO is Domhnal Slattery, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Boeing for 75 Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft valued at 8.4 billion dollars.

The deal includes an option for a further fifty aircraft.
