The value of archaeology will come into focus across Clare this weekend through a series of walks, talks and interactive events.
European Archaeology Days takes runs from tomorrow until Sunday, with activities being held throughout the county as part of a Europe-wide initiative involving more than 30 countries.

This year’s Clare programme focuses on heritage at risk and includes events designed to engage young people.
Clare Heritage Officer, Congella McGuire, says the initiative aims to spark interest in science and heritage while helping people better understand the county’s rich archaeological legacy.
