Datcha Construction Limited has secured planning permission for a large-scale residential development on the Shannon Road in Sixmilebridge.
Plans for the project located on a 2.84 hectare green field site on the western side of Sixmilebridge were submitted on March 11th of this year.
The original application provides for semi-detached units as well as a number of detached houses and terrace dwellings, with surface car parking and vehicular and pedestrian access also included.
Other aspects include connection to the existing public water supply, drainage services, boundary treatment, site development and landscape works.
On May 2nd, Clare County Council requested further information from the applicant and this information was sent in on October 31st.
Planning permission for a total of 79 homes was granted on December 11th subject to 23 conditions, with the local authority stating that three units in the plans must be omitted due to concerns around building orientations, proximity to adjoining boundaries and overall design.
