There’s been a 65 percent jump in taxi trips to Shannon Airport since non-essential international travel resumed on Monday.
New data from FREE NOW shows Monday, July 19th was the busiest day for airport bookings so far in 2021.
4am on that day was the busiest time to book a taxi, with early morning Ryanair departures from Shannon to Gatwick, Krakow and Wroclaw taking place.

Week-on-week trips to Cork and Dublin Airports also jumped by 96 percent and 80 percent respectively since non-essential international travel opened up once more.
