The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital has dropped today.
But trolley numbers at University Hospital Limerick remain almost twice that of the next busiest facility.

The latest INMO figures show 33 people were left waiting on trolleys at Dooradoyle this morning, 27 of those in the emergency department.
