114 Admitted Patients On Trolleys At UHL Today – INMO

Nurses say the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is more than double the next busiest facility today.

The latest analysis from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation shows there were 114 admitted patients waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning.

It represents more than a fifth of the total number of patients on trolleys at Irish Hospitals today.

St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin was the second busiest facility, according to the INMO figures, where 45 patients were waiting for a bed, while there were 41 on trolleys at Sligo University Hospital.
