The Russian health minister says 10 people have been killed in an explosion on the St. Petersburg subway system.
Local media reports suggest a bomb was left in a briefcase in a metro carriage, while investigators say they are probing a suspected “act of terror”.

It’s understood the blast happened between two stations.
The country’s top anti-terror agency also says an explosive device was later found and made safe nearby.
