Scariff and Inagh Kilnamona are the first two teams into the draw for semi finals of the TUS senior hurling championship.
Scariff produced a brilliant display to overcome Clooney-Quin by a single point on a 1-25 to 0-27 scoreline, with Mark Rodgers firing the winner from a placed ball deep in injury time
Inagh-Kilnamona withstood a brilliant third quarter fightback from Cratloe to prevail by 1-23 to 1-17, firing the last six scores unanswered to book their last four spot.
Champions Eire Óg continue their title defence as they take on Wolfe Tones in the opening game of Sunday’s double header at 2.45pm while Kilmaley face Clonlara at 4.45pm.
The draw for this years semi finals will be made this evening after the conclusion of those games.
In the battle to avoid the drop, Crusheen dug deep to see off O’Callaghan’s Mills.
