One of Spanish Point’s key players says players have shown great consistency over recent campaigns after they claimed the Munster Senior A ladies football title.
It marked the third consecutive season that the West Clare schools has won provincial senior honours, having begun their journey in the third tier.

1997 was the last time Spanish Point won the Senior A title, with two current players having mothers who were part of that squad.
One of them is Ellie Hanrahan who scored 2-7 in the win over Loreto Clonmel, and the Kilmurry Ibrickane clubwoman says it was a special day.
