Lying Eyes Sharon Collins has been released from prison
The Ennis woman walked free from Mountjoy women’s prison on Monday in advance of her final release date this December, which will bring an official end to the sentence she received for hiring a hitman to kill her partner PJ Howard and his sons

On Wednesday’s Morning Focus Sharon Collins’ solicitor Patrick Moylan of O’Kelly Moylan Solicitors in Kilrush & Ennis discussed the terms of her release, Sharon’s future plans and her insistance on her innocence.

Emer Connolly, Author of Lying Eyes and the Hitman for Hire, and a Lecturer in Journalism at the University of Limerick joined John in studio to discuss the particulars of the case.

Clare Councillors are accusing consultants at Limerick Regional Hospital of being out of touch with the issues facing their patients
Local members of the regional Health Forum have been told that the Midwest’s main hospital is owed 5.3 million euro because consultants have not signed off on forms which would clear payments from insurance companies.  In some instances, the delay is over a year

The Soroptimists have selected Mental Health and Suicide prevention as their national project for the next two years
They are working jointly with Mental Health Ireland and the HSE to bring information to the community and encourage people to seek help and end the stigma that still exists with mental health
Deirdre has 34 years experience in the area of adult mental health – she joined John in studio.
