Community Group Calls For Better Ennis

Better Ennis is a local community group that advocates for healthy and happy streets. They are looking to help make Ennis a place where people want to spend time, and to build a community where people can walk and cycle safely and comfortably.

They say such an approach has a range of benefits for the community, and while they welcome the recent pedestrianisation of Ennis Town Centre, they are calling for more work to be done to strengthen the community, and local business.

On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, we met co-founder Sile Ginnane as part of a discussion on the need for local and regional responses to the economic fallout of COVID-19.
