John was joined in studio by acclaimed American poet, writer and translator Carlos Reyes who spent over 40 years travelling back and forth to West Clare, following the purchase of a lovely country cottage in the townland of Letterkelly near Inagh.
Carlos wrote The Keys to the Cottage – Stories from the West of Ireland documenting experiences from Rural life, full of stories from their time at the cottage, times with their friends the Lafferty family and in particular how life in the farming community has changed over that time.
