NTA To Meet With County’s Four TDs Over Clare Bus Service

The National Transport Authority has agreed to meet with the county’s four TDs via teleconference this week, to discuss the future of the Clare Bus service.

It follows calls for a mediator to be appointed, after responsibility for the routes was removed from Clare Accessible Transport in March, when a new contract could not be agreed.

Clare’s Fianna Fáil TD previously called on the NTA to meet with the former operators and himself to discuss the matter, but the transport authority has so far declined.
