New Clare Bus Operator Targeting “Doubling” Of Rural Bus Routes In Clare

The new operator of Clare Bus plans to double rural bus routes in this county.

The contract to move the coordination of the service has been signed, meaning it’s now under the remit of the newly named Limerick Clare Local Link.

This move had led to concern in the Banner County that services could be reduced and a petition of 6,000 signatures against the move has been delivered directly to the Dáil.

Now though, management at the community organisation has moved to assure the public in Clare that there will be no downgrade of bus services here.
