Green List A ‘Cautious First Step’ – Dooley

Clare’s Fianna Fáil Senator has described the Green Lists for travel as a cautious first step towards reconnecting with the outside world.

15 countries have been deemed safe for travel, which means that people can now travel there, without having to restrict their movements for 14 days when they return.

Italy, Greece and Malta are among those on the list but Britain, Spain, France and Portugal are not.

The advice remains, however, to avoid all non-essential travel remains.
