Clare County Council has been ranked as one of the most transparent local authorities in Ireland.
The Council has been placed in joint-ninth out of 31 Councils, which have been ranked on three criteria – transparency, accountability and ethics.
The survey results have been published by Transparency International Ireland, who say more County and City Councils have published financial and ethics-related information in 2019 when compared with last year.
