Bus Eireann Services Return To Normal

Today marks the first full day of business at Bus Eireann after three weeks of strike action.

It comes as drivers consider a recommendation from the Labour Court aimed at resolving the dispute at the company.

The proposals include around 200 job losses and a 10 per-cent pay cut.

Killaloe Executive member of the NBRU and local Coucnillor Tony O’Brien is welcoming the fact that Bus Eireann employees have returned to work.

Full timetables are being brought back on line, although there will be some changes in place for the Bank Holiday Weekend.
