Investment In Rural Transport “Must Increase” To Make Clare Attractive Place To Live

It’s claimed that increased investment in rural transport will be crucial in making counties like Clare more attractive to live in.

A report published by the Oireachtas Committee on Rural and Community Development has revealed that planners have focused on the east of the country, to the detriment of other regions.

It’s outlined a number of recommendations to address the inequality, including that the National Transport Authority should be legally required to promote regional development.
