Manchester United have announced that David Moyes has left the club.

Moyes' nine-month tenure at Old Trafford has come to an end after a season of poor form, and after widespread speculation that he was to leave after Sunday's 2-0 defeat to his former club, Everton.
The club confirmed his departure this morning, and have thanked the Scot for the hard work, honesty and integrity he brought to the role.
