It follows yesterday’s disappointment for the Clareman, who has been told that the place he had been hoping to secure has instead been given to a swimmer from Guam.
His father Rob Bryan has told Clare FM that he is considering a legal challenge against the ruling, and that could be taken on his behalf by the governing body for the sport here.
A spokesperson for Swim Ireland has told Clare FM that all factors will be considered, including the cost and likelihood of success, before a final decision on the matter will be taken.
