The manager of the defending Clare SH champions says they're going into this years campaign with a target on their back.
Sixmilebridge claimed their 12th title in 2015, and are unbeaten in competitive games in Clare for more than 12 months.
They face Crusheen for the second year in the opening round, and John O'Meara says it's going to be a huge challenge.
Meanwhile Kilmaley boss PJ Kennedy says they need to work hard if they're to improve on last years showing.
Their year came to an end after defeat in the semi final against Clonlara, with the sides doing battle once more this weekend.
Kilmaley have been the form team at underage level in recent years, but Kennedy says while that's a boost, it's no guarantee of senior glory.
