The former Cork All-Ireland winner had worked with the Banner squad under manager Colm Collins this season, but now won't return to the role in 2015.
It's also reported this morning that Joe O'Connor is to leave his position as strength and conditioning coach with the county's hurlers.
Staying with hurling, it's reported that Henry Shefflin will be on the bench for Kilkenny in Sunday’s All-Ireland final with Tipperary in Croke Park.
The Irish Independent also states that Richie Power, who scored a goal off the bench in the semi-final, will get the nod ahead of Mark Kelly.
