Shannon Tidy Towns is condemning a ‘shocking’ incident of illegal dumping, as the issue has reared its head in the town once again.
Last Friday, Shannon Tidy Towns collected 15 bags of rubbish near Tullyvarraga Hill, with a further two trailers of waste still requiring collection in the coming days.

Household and domestic waste, food waste, and a large volume of cans and bottles were among the items discarded.
Derek Clune from Shannon Tidy Towns says the dumping undermines the hard work being done by the community to keep the town looking well.
