A former Clare All Star has called on the GAA to restructure the national championship to bring it in line with the structures of the camogie championship.

Currently, the provincial and All Ireland camogie championships are run as seperate competitions, with the All Ireland series broken into groups before the knockout stages.
The comments from Clare camogie boss Colm Honan, who won an All Star with the Banner in 1978, come as the GAA look at completing the All Ireland club championship in a calender year.
