Ennis-Kilrush women’s rugby team are putting final preparations in place for their shot at more history this weekend.
The Gareth O’Hanlon coached side go to Mullingar on Sunday afternoon to face Enniskillen in the All Ireland League Promotion Playoff.

It has been a dream few years for the club who were only formed three years ago, and have gone to win back to back Division One league and cup doubles.
O’Hanlon says the enjoyment the players get from the game is bearing fruit with results.
