It is after the CCCC reviewed incidents involving the pair during Clare’s Munster final loss to Limerick, which were first highlighted on the Sunday Game.

County board officials in Clare were today informed of a proposed one match ban for both players, with the option of a hearing in order to challenge the suspensions.

Galway’s Cianan Fahy could also miss out on the Tribesmen’s quarter-final as he faces a two match ban for an incident in their Leinster final loss to Kilkenny.
