St Joseph’s Doora Barefield and Clondegad are both gearing for their preliminary quarter final clash in the Clare senior football championship this weekend.
2020’s intermediate winners come into the game with momentum off the back of a victory over Kilmihil, while Clondegad did not make it directly through to the last eight despite winning two out of their three group games.
Clondegad will be looking to experienced operators like Gary Brennan and Podge McMahon to get them over the line, with St Joseph’s operating with the youngest panel in the senior championship.
Clare FM analyst Joe Garry believes it could come down to which side is more clinical in front of goal on Sunday.
