Inagh/Kilnamona’s Junior B Hurling captain says it was a superb game as they edged out Tipperary’s Boherlahan/Dulla in yesterday’s Munster semi-final.
The Clare side won 2-18 to 3-14 after extra-time thanks to Tom Barry and Shane Griffin goals while Cian Shannon sent over the winning point after extra-time.
However, they had to force the added 20 minutes first and, speaking with manager Paul O’Looney, Dermot Gannon says he was delighted to see his 64th minute free sail over to force extra-time.
They meet Limerick’s Cappamore in the Munster semi-final next Sunday.
Inagh/Kilnamona and Boherlahan/Dualla have finished level in their Munster Junior B Hurling Semi-Final and will play extra-time shortly.
