Dublin boss, Anthony Daly of Clarecastle, made the comments after he saw Clare dispatch his own team by four points in Saturday's challenge match between the sides at Cusack Park.
While Clare lifted Liam McCarthy after travelling via the back-door last year, Daly has told Clare FM that he believes Davy Fitzgerald's players will be focussing on provincial success this year.
