Clare senior footballer Podge Collins says the squad are looking to improve on last year’s championship run when they get the 2015 season underway in just over two weeks’ time.
The Banner exited last year’s qualifiers in Round 3 after a one-point loss to Kildare in Cusack Park, a result Clare boss Colm Collins described as crushing at the time.
Podge Collins says while they'll be looking progress even further in 2015, their full focus is on the Munster Quarter Final against LImerick on May 23rd.
Meanwhile, in hurling Limerick will face Cork in this year's Munster Minor Championship semi-final.
They recovered from three points down at half-time to beat Waterford 0-18 to 1-10
Clare are already in the other semi-final, and will play Tipperary on July 1st.
