Clare have opened their 2026 intercounty hurling season with a dramatic win.
They had the minimum to spare over neighbours Limerick in the Munster senior hurling league.

Shane Meehan’s first half goal saw Brian Lohan’s charges lead 1-12 to 1-10 at the break.
However, it was Limerick who led entering injury time before a late Mark Rodgers penalty gave the Banner victory on a score of 3-20 to 3-18.
