Saturday’s win for the county’s Under-21s mean Clare have been installed as warm favourites for their All-Ireland Final against Antrim, where a win would mark a third All-Ireland under-21 title in five seasons.
That game takes place on September 14th, six days after the county’s senior team go up against Cork in the senior final.
The comments came from Clare Under-21 joint manager Donal Maloney, who also refused to rule out the possibility of Aaron Cunningham lining out in their decider.
