Busy Day Of Action In TUS Clare Club Hurling Championships

The first two semi-finalists of this year’s TUS Clare senior hurling championship will be decided today.

Cusack Park plays host to a double header of quarter-final ties, while one former Munster club champion will lose their senior status.

The game with the most on the line today is arguably the clash of Wolfe Tones and Doora Barefield in the relegation playoff at 1pm in Newmarket

Both sides come into the tie seeking their first win of the 2023 championship, and whoever gets it will secure their senior status for another year.

It is progression in the championship thats on the line in Cusack Park with a double header of last eight ties down for decision.

The first of those comes at 3pm when unbeaten Feakle take on Kilmaley while at 5pm, Scariff also put their unbeaten record on the line when they face Clooney-Quin,

Clare FM will broadcast live commentary of both games with Peppers Bar and Restaurant Feakle and O’Sullivan Hansbury Motors Ennis.

There is also one quarter-final tie down for decision in the TUS Clare intermediate hurling championship.

It is a 1pm start in Broadford for the meeting of Bodyke and Sixmilebridge.
