There are three games down for decision today in the Clare senior football championship.
The day’s action begins in Shannon, where Corofin and St Joseph’s Doora Barefield meet at 3pm
Cratloe and Lissycasey will square off in Clarecastle at 4.30pm, while champions Eire Óg begin their bid for a third consecutive title against Clondegad in Cusack Park at 6.30pm.
There are also a full round of games down for decision in the Clare intermediate football championship this afternoon.
In Group One, Lissycasey is the venue as Kilmihil play Shannon Gaels at 2.30pm, while there is a 6pm start in Coolmeen for the meeting of O’Curry’s and Wolfe Tones.
In Group Two, the Banner hosts the meeting of Coolmeen and Ennistymon at 3pm, while Quilty is the venue for Liscannor’s clash with Naomh Eoin at 4pm.
Group Three has two evening games, where the Banner and Kilfenora clash in Corofin at 6pm, and Cooraclare face Kilrush in Doonbeg at 6.30pm.
