Avenue United’s manager has passed on his congratulations to Newmarket Celtic after their eighth consecutive Clare Cup victory.
The two sides meet tonight in the Hugh Kelly Premier Division Cup Final, the last domestic trophy available this season.

Only one goal separated the teams in their last three encounters and Newmarket did lose this competition’s final last year to Sporting Ennistymon.
But David Russell says their unique achievement will unlikely be repeated.
