Today’s Morning Focus heard one woman’s experience of sexual assault in Shannon town centre.
‘Jacinta’ ( not her real name ) made contact with the programme to speak of what she describes as an ‘unsavoury incident’ that occurred while she was shopping recently in Shannon. On a Monday evening, while the shops were busy, ‘Jacinta’ was twice touched inappropriately by the same man, in two incidents almost an hour apart. She wished to speak out to highlight the issue and to warn others of what happened to her.
