West Clare Wildlife Club To Host Talk On White-Tailed Eagle In Ireland

On Thursday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Clare Heardman of National Parks and Wildlife Services and Simon Burrow of the West Clare Wildlife Club. They spoke about the upcoming talk which will be held by the West Clare Wildlife Club in Knockerra Hall in Kilrush on Thursday 20th April at 8pm. The subject of the talk will be the white-tailed eagle in Ireland. Clare spoke about the history of the white-tailed eagle in Ireland and their presence in the country. She also discussed the reintroduction programme in 2007, which saw eagles returning to Ireland. Simon spoke about the history of the West Clare Wildlife Club which formed over 15 years ago. He mentioned his delight with the interest in wildlife in West Clare.
