Two of Clare’s main towns have been honoured as some of Ireland’s Most Enterprising Towns. Ennis has been named as the winner of the category for large towns in the Bank of Ireland Begin Together Awards. The scheme recognises the spirit of enterprise and resilience in towns and cities across the Island of Ireland. Ennis claims prizes worth €10,000 while Kilrush, which had also been named as a finalist in its category, has won €5,000.
