Turas na mBan is a female only cycle sportive run by Clare Ladies Cycling Club.
The concept of the event is to bring female cyclists together to improve fitness, form friendships and most of all have fun while raising money for local charities.
This is the fourth year that Turas na mBan has been hosted by Clare Ladies Cycling Club.

The charity for 2018 is Bunratty Search and Rescue. There are two routes – 45 km and 90 km – and people can register online on eventbrite until midday on Friday, and on the morning of the event (8:30 to 9:30) at the start line in Clarecastle.
Phil Spellissy, Chairperson of the Clare Ladies Cycling Club, and Deirdre O’Connell , the Turas Co-ordinator, joined Gavin in studio to talk about the event.
