Teacher and Students React to Reversal on Decision To Reopen Schools for Leaving Certs

Teachers Unions forced the government’s hand last night as they directed their members not to return to work in person on Monday – despite the government’s original decision to provide Leaving Certs with face-to-face learning for three days a week.

Leaving Cert Students similarly voiced their concerns about the proposed return to school.

However, questions about the Leaving Certificate exams for 2021 are now being raised and questions over the viability of mock exams, practical exams and orals are at the forefront of student’s minds.
