On Monday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrissey was joined by actress hailing from Shannon county Clare, Rachel Wren.
Rachel Wren can now be seen on our TV screen on a regular basis.
The Mullens family are the newest addition to the hit TV soap Fair City, with Rachel landing the role of Ruby Mullens, one of the daughters.
Rachel explained that she first began acting from a young age and explained that she always had an interest in films growing up.
She studied music film and drama in Dublin and was able to secure a job as an extra which helped her gain more opportunities in the world of acting.
Rachel spoke about how she obtained the Fair City audition and outlined the traits and characteristics of the character she will be playing in the iconic soap.
