On Monday’s Morning Focus Pat Flynn was joined by Shannon GP Dr. Yvonne Williams, who described the scenes she witnessed in Lahinch this weekend as ‘shocking’.
Listeners expressed great concern over the large crowds and reported lack of social distancing which were witnessed at the beach over the weekend, as well as the high level of litter that was left behind.
Dr. Williams told Pat Flynn that the crowds witnessed at the weekend prove that the reopening of the country is moving too quickly.
