Sexual violence survey to be updated in Ireland after 16 years.
There are currently no statistics to show the extent of sexual violence in Ireland. The most recent Sexual Abuse and Violence in Ireland report was compiled 16 years ago. Miriam Duffy of the Rape Crisis Midwest organisation was on the Morning Focus show today (Jan 05 2018) to discuss this issue.
