Calls For Ennis 2040 Projects To Be Diverted Outside County Town

There are calls for Ennis 2040 projects to be spread elsewhere in the county to ensure balanced regional growth in Clare.

Under the strategy, the county town is forecast to benefit from four strategic infrastructure developments in a €45m investment.

It’s estimated the office and retail units planned for Abbey Street and Harvey’s Quay along with housing at Francis Street and the Post Office Field boardwalk will create 200 new jobs and boost weekly town footfall by 20,000.
