On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Síle Concannon who is the Chair of the Board of Coláiste Uí Chomhraidhe. The board of Coláiste Uí Chomhraidhe recently hosted two positive and well attended meetings in Carrigaholt last weekend. The meetings helped to identify a unique way in which the Coláiste Uí Chomhraidhe school could be preserved as a piece of their built heritage and a place of learning the Irish language and culture. The school was discussed as a potential use of accommodation for Ukrainians who have fled the war in their country or for International Protection Applicants.
