On Tuesday’s Morning Focus, Alan Morrrissey was joined by Opera Singer Celine Byrne.
Celine, a Soprano singer and one of Ireland’s’ biggest classical music talents discussed her upcoming performance in the University Concert Hall in Limerick.
Celine spoke about her introduction to opera having first studied music before her singing career and gave listeners a taste of whats to come in her upcoming show which she hopes will challenge the traditional stereotypes of opera singing.
She also highlighted the work involved in preparing for an opera performance.
The Performance ‘Classical’ is due to take place for one night only, on Sunday the 22nd of October with special guests Cobhla Surlis and Cavan Cathedral Choir.
