Music lovers in East Clare are in for a special treat this weekend as acclaimed pianist, singer and composer Maja Elliott joins forces with Italian composer and multi-instrumentalist Marco Giaccaria for a unique performance in Tuamgraney.
Part of The Aşvarya Tour, the concert promises an evening that blends classical music, jazz, improvisation, world music traditions and original compositions. Between them, Maja and Marco bring a wealth of international experience, having performed across the globe and collaborated with artists from a wide range of musical backgrounds.
Maja’s work has been featured on RTÉ Lyric FM, while her composition Waterfall premiered at the National Concert Hall in 2024. Marco, meanwhile, has released more than 80 albums and is renowned for his work across genres ranging from early music and Irish traditional music to contemporary composition and jazz.
