Men Of Clare Raise Awareness For Oesophageal Cancer

On Friday’s Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Conor Davoren who is currently recovering from oesophageal cancer along side Johnny King who is a retired Shannon Airport aircraft engineer living with Barrett’s Oesophagus. Johnny lost his twin brother to oesophageal cancer at the age of 46. Both men wished to highlight the importance of early detection of the disease.
On Friday 24th of February and Saturday 25th of February Conor will be raising funds for the Oesophageal Cancer Fund in Dunnes Stores in Ennis between 9am and 6pm. There will also be further collections taking place in Aldi in both Ennis and Ennistymon on the same dates and times.
