We are going to hear from a woman who has beaten cancer not once, not twice…but FIVE times.
Marian Carroll is originally from Cork but has been living in Ennis for the past seven years.

The period from 2012 – 2016 is one that Marian will never forget – or want to relive – as she went through five separate cancer-related operations, followed by a bout of chemotherapy.
Marian has now turned her experience into a series of calendars and poetry books, with the intention of donating part of the profits to cancer-related charities.
Alan Morrissey has been speaking with Marian, who began by telling us about her first brush with cancer.
