This weekend, former Clare Independent TD Dr. Michael Harty apologised for what he’s called a “serious lack of judgement” in attending the controversial Oireachtas Golf Society dinner in Clifden.
The Kilmihil GP was among over 80 people who attended the event in Co. Galway. It led to the resignation as Agriculture Minister of Dara Calleary, and has led to intense scrutiny on Phil Hogan and his position as EU Commissioner.
On Monday, in his first comments since the dinner, Dr. Harty joined Gavin on Clare FM’s Morning Focus.
